The especially hard grains of popcorn explode when heated, as the grains’ remaining moisture expands. Use a deep, heavy pan with a tight-fitting lid! Cook 100g popcorn to 1 tablespoon of oil for 3-4 minutes.

Best way to cook: Heat 1 tbsp on oil in a deep pan and add one kernel of popping corn to the pan. Attach the lid and wait for that kernel to pop. Once it has, that’s how you know that the oil is hot enough and you’re ready to add in the rest of your kernels.
